Broken

Painted entirely with a palette knife, this is an exploration of imperfection.  We are all "broken" in some way, like this coffee pot which is missing its handle.  We all have our lacks, our flaws.  As has been said, "we're all flawed, imperfect, impure..."  Broken is normal; broken is ordinary.

That's the point, really.  If we are all broken, then what does "broken" really mean?  It is in accepting that I am broken and incomplete that I find grace and the strength to move beyond myself.  When I come to the end of what I can do, because I'm broken, there God lifts me and shows me His perspective.  Broken with God is the end of ordinary.
